Ed is currently the Director of Soccer Operations at two of the areas indoor Soccer Centers, the Brighton Sports Zone and All Star Sports Arena. He has a rich and vast history in soccer in the Rochester area including coaching at many Scholastic levels. He is currently the assistant coach for the women's team at the Rochester Institute of Technology and has coached in the high school ranks at Brighton, McQuaid, Allendale Columbia and Mercy High School respectively. His club coaching has been through Brighton at the travel level where he is the director of coaching, creator, founder and long time coach. He has been very involved at the Premier level as well with the Olympic Development Programs (ODP) at the District and State levels. He is the Technical Director of Players Development for the U10 Girls Academy for the Rochester Jr. Rhinos. Many of Ed’s teams have become State Champions and Regional contenders and one of his teams actually became National Indoor Champions. Coach Sherman, holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a United States Soccer Federation “B” license. He also put on clinics, and is a personal trainer for many teams and players from the Rochester area. |
